CODE OF CONDUCT

Alfa Soccer seeks to promote the highest standards of conduct for all participating parties to ensure an environment of respect, courtesy, inclusion, and community. Our goal is to foster professional relationships and we are committed to every participants safety and well being through positive behaviors. All players and parents are expected to adhere to the standards below.

Club Policies

  • Participating in any games, practice sessions, coaching sessions, and club meetings makes you subject to our rules and guidelines.

  • Payment of club fees is expected in accordance to the communicated schedule.

  • Volunteer support for the team and club activities may be requested.

  • For questions, comments, concerns, or feedback please reach out to the Head Coach directly.​

Player Conduct

  • Arrive to games on time and prepared in uniform and equipment.

  • Treat others the way you'd want to be treated. 

  • Don't criticize your teammates, practice mindful and respectful communication.

  • Learn the laws of the game and do your best to follow them.

  • Respect the fields and facilities.

  • Respect the referees, opponents, parents, coaches, and other staff.

  • Lose graciously, use the loss as a learning opportunity.

  • Keep your cool, if fouled - don't retaliate.

  • Respect and follow the guidance of coaches.

Parent Conduct

   Support your player and the team:​

  • Be respectful of the schedule - have your child at the field on time.

  • Inform the coach of anticipated absence or tardiness as soon as possible. 

  • Support your player by ensuring they are well rested and adequately prepared for the game.

  • Support and respect the coaches, reach out when needed to discuss any questions or concerns.

   

   Respect the game:

  • Be a mindful spectator, avoid negative criticism and avoid altercations with other spectators.

  • Allow the coaches and staff to navigate the plays and referee calls.. Do not audibly criticize the decisions of the referees.

  • Avoid side coaching players during a game as this can lead to confusing instructions for the players.

  • Respect the fields, coaches, staff and opposing teams.
